Elk!

We took a day trip over to the Olympic Peninsula yesterday and explored around the Duckabush river area. Duckabush means 'place of crooked-jawed salmon'. On the way there near Brinnon we were surprised to see a herd of elk!

Those elk are like the best outdoor drive-in movie theater. Amazing!

I was under the impression that the elk kept more westward...

I stood about 35 ft from the Sequim heard (about 100 elk), scary.

Ooh! Is the cabin haunted? I hope.

I guess that this Roosevelk elk herd hangs out in Brinnon. I think that cabin is haunted for sure!
