Ernie's Onions

Years ago I was given some lovely heirloom onions. I kept them safe (somehow) and they are still alive. They were the inspiration for my herb garden on my new deck. For years I have wanted a variety of fresh herbs right outside my kitchen door.

Strawberries, several kinds of sage, and um...stuff I can't remember...good thing they are all marked with cool copper tags!

Its too cold here to put the garden in yet - May long weekend. Your pictures made me eager to get going.... I too love lettuces, lavender and assorted greenery. :)
