Fall Stew
This recipe is super flexible...you can add all kinds of things that you have to much left over of in your garden (if you are lucky enough to have fresh veggies)
Saute in a small soup pot 1 medium onion in a little oil
Once it is almost transparent add 2 cups water
1 cup of some sort of wild rice mix
1 small sugar pumpkin peeled and cubed (you can use any variety of fall squash here)
1 (or to taste) teaspoon of chili powder
You can add oregano to taste too if you want
Salt
1 can corn or some fresh corn
1 can diced tomato or fresh tomatoes
Cook for about 30 minutes on medium heat (cover if you want the rice to cook faster)
Add 1 or 2 cans of white beans
Cook for about 10 more minutes. When rice and pumpkin are soft-it is done.

Beagle
My beagle and I have been together for many years. Been through a lot together...She is old and cranky now. She often tries to eat the cats and the other dog. But I love her anyway. This is a portrait of her from a photo I took about 3 or 4 years ago. She is much older and fatter...and has more grey now. Ebay Auction

New Tags
Most of my new 3D work and ATCs will now come with a groovy one of a kind tag with a number on it. Many people want "certificates of authenticity". I find those so formal and unartistic. So the number on these little tags and the signature on the back will function as my certificate of authenticity. During the arts and crafts time period art pottery and tiles and things came with little tags like this.

Knitting Scraps!
What am I doing with these knitting scraps? Well...I am making little inspiration totem animal boxes and plushie monster dollies. I am still looking for people interested in trading me yarn scraps for tiny paintings. I would also love to trade with any quilters or fabric hounds for lovely scraps...particularly wool, flannel, and fleece. Any colors are wonderful but I am way into pink, orange, yellow and lime green. (I will also trade bigger or more minis for lovely bigger stashes) Contact me. :)

Mad Anne Kidd
Every pirate is a little bit crazy. You, though, are more than just a little bit. Even though you're not always the traditional swaggering gallant, your steadiness and planning make you a fine, reliable pirate. Arr!
